For the opening of its new Yorkdale’s store in Toronto, Nordstrom wanted to create a happening and generate awareness. The brand’s objectives were to engage guests with an exclusive experience, let them create amazing user-generated content and increase awareness and reach by maximizing digital impressions on social media.
It’s a great moment for Nordstrom because it’s the first newly-built Nordstrom store in Canada. In addition, the store introduces many premium luxury brands so it’s important to mark the occasion before the opening.
